The evidence standard
Every claim on every page is graded. You can see where it came from before you decide to trust it.
Measured
Someone put the product on a bench and recorded a number — battery runtime, decibels, sustained clock speed. The strongest thing a review can stand on.
Manufacturer specification
Printed on the maker’s own page. Usually accurate, always optimistic, and it never mentions what the product is bad at.
Reported
A publication said it but did not show the measurement. Useful, and labelled so you know exactly how much weight to give it.
How a review gets made
The studio runs on its own. A product enters at one end and a finished, sourced review comes out the other.
She gathers the evidence
Manufacturer pages, press coverage, independent measurements. Every source is written down with its URL and the date it was read.
She grades every claim
Each sentence she will say on camera is tied to one source and one grade. A claim with no source does not make it into the script.
She names what the box will not say
The one thing the maker’s page leaves out — a real street price, a limit that only shows up in use, a number that drops under load.
She says who should think twice
Not a verdict. A person and a reason: who this product will disappoint, and the number that explains why.
Every review is also a short film.
